Interest in Cost269
  • Narrowing the gap between humanists (“humies”) and technologists (“techies”) in considering user aspects (means: promoting interdisciplinary approaches and work).
  • Narrowing the gap between the “I” and the “C” perspectives (means: explaining the IT point of view regarding user aspects; promoting a coherent communication paradigm).
  • Boosting the role of the user (means: promoting anthropocentric user interfaces; preparing for the obvious convergence between the “laptop” and the “phone”).
