Lajla Klamer: Tele Danmark, society and market analyst, in Tele Danmark Research and Development
Recent research I am a project leader and co-ordinating projects about market trends, which involves the EURESCOM P903-GI, COST 269, a scenario project and a field trial with ICT in co-operation with a non-profit housing association. I am one of three persons from Tele Danmark who take part in a win-win project about "sharing knowledge about future trends" with 3 other highly professional organisations in Denmark. I am a human geographer and was an assistant professor at the Institute of Geography, University of Copenhagen, till I was asked to come to Tele Danmark in May 1995. Here I have all the time been working with knowledge of residential users. We have worked with different kinds of segmentation models, lifestyles, user behaviour etc. and in 1998 especially with the future mobile users. About once a year we plan and carry out "Tele Think Tanks" for the top leaders in Tele Danmark which include scenarios. The department includes a section working with usability and design.

Three reports from the Tele Think Tanks have been translated to English/American.
