Recent research His main domain of research is in the investigation of social networks and sociability over the life cycle, identities and communication practices. His recent research projects include work on: young people’s personal networks and telecom uses (with M. Eve, University of Turin) residential migration, changes in sociability patterns and communication practices (with C. de Gournay, FT R&D and P.A. Mercier, University of Paris 9 Dauphine) impact of the birth of first child on sex roles and reshaping of couples’ social networks (with C. Leclerc and V. Manceron, University of Paris 10, and B. Lelong, FT R&D.) retired people’s social biographies and use of communication technologies (with M. Eve, University of Turin) EURESCOM project P-903: European study on “ICT in daily life.”
