Recent research She teaches Sociology of mass media and Sociology of Education at the University of Trieste. She carried out many researches (quantitative and qualitative) about the social use of ICTs and, in particular, the first Italian survey about the social use of the telephone (1993) (published in 1995 "Gli italiani al telefono. Milano:Angeli).
