no picture yet	Dr Britt Östlund : Employed since 1999 at Swedish Transport & Communications Research Board Stockholm, in order to develop and implement a new research programme on users of ICT and problems related to usability, usefulness and useworthiness.
Recent research Britt earned her PhD in Technology and Social change in 1995. Major research interests are everyday use of information and communication technology, not least in the lives of elderly people. She has recently ended a research project on technical possibilities and physical and social limitations among people 60 years and older. She is also an expert in the IST-programme within the EC fifth framework programme. In the past this included COST A5: Ageing and technology 1992-1997, and COST A4: Social shaping of Technology 1996-1998.
Network & Affiliation Britt is a part of the established network on user-issues and research on ageing and technology.
