  • Employed since 1999 at Swedish Transport & Communications Research Board Stockholm, in order to develop and implement a new research programme on users of ICT and problems related to usability, usefulness and useworthiness.
Recent research
  • Britt earned her PhD in Technology and Social change in 1995. Major research interests are everyday use of information and communication technology, not least in the lives of elderly people.
  • She has recently ended a research project on technical possibilities and physical and social limitations among people 60 years and older.
  • She is also an expert in the IST-programme within the EC fifth framework programme.
  • In the past this included COST A5: Ageing and technology 1992-1997, and COST A4: Social shaping of Technology 1996-1998.
Network & Affiliation
  • Britt is a part of the established network on user-issues and research on ageing and technology.
